  15.         <text>Galexica (Plain, Bold, Italic, BoldItalic)Galexica-XBoldGalexicaMonosp (Plain, Bold)Galexica began as an attempt to create a futuristic typewriter face, which may be an oxymoron. These results are preserved as GalexicaMonosp. I did not have firm ideas of what I wanted when I began, and some of the characteristics of this typeface just seemed to happen.It seemed natural to develop the idea further as a proportionally-spaced face, which led to Galexica-Plain. I had ideas for several alternate lower-case letters, which led to the italic version. Since horizontal and vertical stokes have the same weight, it was fairly easy to create the bold and XBold versions using Fontographer.It is quite readable at small point sizes, but it has enough oddities in letter shapes so that it is best used in small doses for display purposes.</text>
